Adjustment an intersection of Přístavní x Obvodová in Brno
Nykodým, Miloš ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Smělý, Martin (advisor)
The one-lane roundabout is designed at the crossing point of road II. Class (Ob-vodová) and local road (speed-A, Přístaviště) in Brno. The current state is unsatis-factory. The danger is at risk due to the increased maximum permitted speed before the junction and also because of the MHD JMK bus stops, which are cur-rently solved in the form of a lane stop in the local road, or with partial bus bay. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to maximize the safety of traffic participants. Furthermore, emphasis is placed on minimizing interference with existing struc-tures, the environment and aesthetics.
Grade-separated junction Žešov on highway D46 - study
Sobková, Tereza ; Matuszková, Radka (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with search study of grade-separated junction, in particular the completion of the connection of the road II / 433 to the highway D46. The mentioned junction is located on the kilometre 21 of the highway in the cadastral area of Žešov. Both missing connections (the entrance towards Olomouc and the exit from Olomouc) are designed in two variants.
Realistic Roundabouts Simulator
Molnár, Miroslav ; Petrlík, Jiří (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
Constant increase of the road traffic brings some new problems. Finding solutions requires an exploration of road transportation. The aim of this work is to design and develop the microscopic simulator based on the cellular automaton for simulating roundabouts. Such simulator allows to create different types of roundabouts that can be connected to each other by roads. Within the simulator, there is possibility to change different parameters, e.g. value of the visibility, the sliding friction, the maximum speed and the adherence to a safe distance on the road. At the end of this work there are the results of the simulations in the different traffic situations summarized.
Intersection of Na Střelnici nad Lazecká Streets in Olomouc City
Reiter, Tomáš ; Apeltauer, Jiří (referee) ; Všetečka, Martin (advisor)
The intersection of the streets Na Střelnici and Lazecká in Olomouc is reconstructed as a roundabout with four branches. The aim of the renovation is to improve traffic safety at the intersection and respecting architectural principles. This project addresses the design of roundabout, analyzing problems and developed technical studies.
Reconstruction of crossing - Brno, Míru square
Kolísek, Radomír ; Veselý, Josef (referee) ; Pavlíček, Jan (advisor)
This master's degree thesis is focused on the traffic problem at Míru square in the city of Brno where the intersection with tram terminus turning loop is located. Thesis is based on local engineering survey with the outcome of six different design variants. The variant with the tram turning loop displaced north-west was chosen for detailed design with the outcome of full technical documentation and drawings.
Comparison Crossing to Roundabout in Soběslav - Tyršova
Hapl, Michal ; Apeltauer, Jiří (referee) ; Holcner, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on conversion T intersection Tyršova in Soběslav. Conversion is necessary because of the construction IV. Transit corridor, which route is interrupted road II/135.The design is made in two versions, four-arm intersection and roundabout. The main traffic flow is road II/135 connecting road I/3 and motorway. Both versions are compared in terms of technical design, capacity and traffic flow. As a base I used nationwide traffic counts complemented by personal counting aimed at directional passes and map data.
The second phase shifting I/9 Dubice - Dolni Libchava
Belda, Miroslav ; Jíra, Daniel (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
Master's thesis will deal with the second phase of shifting I/9 Dubice - Dolni Libchava passing west of the Ceska Lipa with an approximate length of 3 km stretch. Estimated start-up of this section is in 2014. This project should build on in the future by-pass Ceska Lipa and Novy Bor, which is currently without funds for implementation by 2025. Traffic load after completion of the by-pass should be approximately 16500 vehicles / 24 hours in 2030. The section is designed in the category S 9.5 with optional solving two major intersections. This thesis will focus on reducing the cost of construction of the section.
Design Of I/34 And II/164 Crossroad Near Jindřichův Hradec
Kokeš, Ondřej ; Krčmová, Iva (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
This is an adaptation of the existing intersection, which their arrangement is unsatisfactory and there is becoming a serious accident. This work proposed three options. In the first variant is proposed the roundabout. The proposal is located in the existing conditions, to prevent expansion of plots. In the second variant is designed turbo roundabout with spiral arrangement of lanes. This proposal also uses space in the existing condition. In the main direction of the traffic intensity is designed bypass. The third variant is designed as joining intersection, which is also located in the existing conditions. The focus of the third option is to change the main traffic routes and design of the connecting and cornering lane.
Improving traffic conditions at Střední and Dolní Novosadská in Olomouc (road II/435) with regards to cycling and walking safety
Masaříková, Petra ; Holcner, Petr (referee) ; Smítal, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes the design of calming the streets of Middle and Lower Novosadská in Olomouc with regard to the safety of bicycle and pedestrian traffic. The proposal includes modification of existing crossroads, pavement and bus stops. In the thesis are dealt with the proposal of a new road for cycling. At the crossroads of groomed intensity was measured and calculated as current transport capacity of thecrossroads. In the Interest section is elaborated analysis of the accident.
Brno – Žebětín Bypass - Technical Study
Misiarzová, Vendula ; Polesná, Kateřina (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the technical study of the bypass in the city part Brno - Žebětín, which will be situated in the corridor of available urban land. The proposal also takes into consideration the necessary connection to the possible residential area and the pedestrian access from the Hostislavova street. The project includes two alternatives, which differ in type of intersection designed for Hostislavova street. In the option - A a T-junction is designed, in the option - B it is a roundabout. The thesis also contains an assessment of these two options and more detailed technical study of the option – A.
